Attaining the Reward of Good Deeds Missed

SceneOne should recite the following verse of the Qur’aan Majeed once every morning and evening:

Glory be to Allah when you reach the evening and when you rise in the morning. And all praise is due to Him in the heavens and the earth. And [glory be to Him] in the evening and at midday. It is He who brings out the living from the dead (e.g. Allah Ta’ala creates a believer from the progeny of a disbeliever), and brings out the dead from the living (e.g. Allah Ta’ala creates a disbeliever from the progeny of a believer), and Who gives life to the earth after it is dead; and thus shall you be resurrected (from the dead).

Hadhrat ibn Abbaas (Radhiallahu Anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who recites the following verse in the morning, he will attain the reward of whatever good deed he missed out during the day; and whoever recites it in the evening will attain the reward of whatever good deed he missed out during the night.
