The Virtues of Reciting Radeetu billahi Rabba

One should recite the following zikr as there are many virtues recorded in the Mubaarak Hadith for the one who recites this zikr:

رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبَّا وَبِالإسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا

I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Hazrat Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) as my messenger.

Among the virtues of this zikr is the following virtue:

1) Paradise becoming Waajib for a Person

عن أبي سعيد الخدرى أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال من قال رضيت بالله ربا وبالإسلام دينا وبمحمد رسولا وجبت له الجنة (سنن أبي داود، الرقم: 1531)

Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (radhiyallahu anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “Whoever recites the following zikr (and lives his life accordingly), Paradise becomes waajib for him:”

رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبَّا وَبِالإسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا

2) Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) Holding one by his hand and entering him into Paradise

عن المنيذر رضي الله عنه صاحب رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم وكان يكون بإفريقية قال : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم يقول : من قال إذا أصبح : رضيت بالله ربا وبالإسلام دينا وبمحمد نبيا فأنا الزعيم لآخذن بيده حتى أدخله الجنة  رواه الطبراني وإسناده حسن (مجمع الزوائد 17005)

Hazrat Munaydhir (radhiyallahu anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “Whoever recites the following zikr in the morning (and lives his life accordingly), I guarantee that I will definitely hold his hand and enter him into Paradise:

رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبَّا وَبِالإسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا

3) Allah Ta’ala will Make One Pleased on the day of Qiyaamah

عن أبي سلام قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ما من عبد مسلم يقول حين يصبح وحين يمسي ثلاث مرات رضيت بالله ربا وبالإسلام دينا وبمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم نبيا إلا كان حقا على الله أن يرضيه يوم القيامة (مسند أحمد، الرقم: 18967)

Hazrat Abu Salaam (radhiyallahu anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “Whoever recites the following zikr thrice in the morning and in the evening (and lives his life accordingly), Allah Ta’ala will certainly please him on the day of Qiyaamah (i.e. Allah Ta’ala will forgive him and usher him into Paradise):

رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبَّا وَبِالإسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا
