Reciting Aayatul Kursi

One should recite Aayatul Kursi once every morning and evening.

اللَّـهُ لا إِلـٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ الحَىُّ القَيّومُ لا تَأخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلا نَومٌ لَهُ ما فِى السَّمـٰوٰتِ وَما فِى الأَرضِ مَن ذَا الَّذى يَشفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلّا بِإِذنِهِ يَعلَمُ ما بَينَ أَيديهِم وَما خَلفَهُم وَلا يُحيطونَ بِشَىءٍ مِن عِلمِهِ إِلّا بِما شاءَ وَسِعَ كُرسِيُّهُ السَّمـٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ وَلا يَـٔودُهُ حِفظُهُما وَهُوَ العَلِىُّ العَظيمُ

Allah Ta’ala (our Lord). There is no god but He, the Everlasting, the Eternal Sustainer. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and on the earth. Who can intercede on behalf of anyone in His presence except if He gives permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them (The knowledge of the future and the past). They shall not encompass any of His knowledge except (that knowledge) which He wills (to inform them). His Kursi (Throne) extends over the heavens and the earth, and He is not overcome with fatigue in guarding and preserving them. He is the Most High, the Supreme.

عن الحسن بن علي رضي الله عنهما قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم من قرأ آية الكرسي في دبر الصلاة المكتوبة كان في ذمة الله إلى الصلاة الأخرى  رواه الطبراني بإسناد حسن  (الترغيب رقم 2469)

Hadhrat Hasan bin Ali (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever recites Aayatul Kursi after every fardh salaah, will be in the special protection and care of Allah Ta’ala until the next salaah.
