Dua for Assistance in Settling Debts – 3

When one is in debt, one should recite the following dua:

اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ، تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ، وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاءُ، وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ، وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ، بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ، إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، رَحْمٰنُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ تُعْطِيهِمَا مَنْ تَشَاءُ، وَتَمْنَعُ مِنْهُمَا مَنْ تَشَاءُ، ارْحَمْنِي رَحْمَةً تُغْنِينِي بِهَا عَنْ رَحْمَةِ مَنْ سِوَاكَ

O Allah, the Lord of the Kingdom, You grant kingdom to whomsoever You wish, and You take away kingdom from whomsoever You wish; and You bestow honour to whomsoever You wish and You bring disgrace upon whomsoever You wish. In Your hand lies all good. Surely You are powerful over everything. O the Most merciful in the earth and the heavens, You grant both of them (the blessings of the earth and the heavens) to whomsoever You wish, and You withhold both of them (the blessings of the earth and the heavens) from whomsoever You wish. Shower such (great) mercy upon me through which You will make me independent of the mercy of everyone else besides You.

وعن أنس بن مالك قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لمعاذ: ألا أعلمك دعاء تدعو به لو كان عليك مثل جبل أحد دينا لأدى الله عنك؟ قل يا معاذ: اللهم مالك الملك، تؤتي الملك من تشاء، وتنزع الملك ممن تشاء، وتعز من تشاء، وتذل من تشاء، بيدك الخير، إنك على كل شيء قدير، رحمن الدنيا والآخرة تعطيهما من تشاء، وتمنع منهما من تشاء، ارحمني رحمة تغنيني بها عن رحمة من سواك. Hazrat Anas (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said to Hazrat Mu’aaz (radhiyallahu ‘anhu), “O Muaaz! Should I not teach you such a dua that if you have debts equal to Mount Uhud, and you make this dua to Allah Ta‘ala (to settle your debts), Allah Ta‘ala will definitely settle all your debts for you? O Muaaz! Recite the following dua:
