Happiness of Hazrat Umar (radhiyallahu ‘anhu)

Hazrat Umar (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) once said to Hazrat Abbaas (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) (the uncle of Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam)), “I was more pleased with your Islam than the Islam of my father, as your Islam brought more happiness to Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) than the Islam of my father.” (Sharhu Ma’aanil Aathaar 3/321)
