Glad tidings for the Mukhliseen

عن ثوبان رضي الله عنه قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم يقول طوبى للمخلصين أولئك مصابيح الهدى تنجلي عنهم كل فتنة ظلماء رواه البيهقي (الترغيب و الترهيب 1/59)

It is narrated from Hadhrat Thaubaan (Radhiyallahu Anhu) that he heard Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) saying: “Glad tidings of Paradise be for the Mukhliseen (i.e. those who possess the wealth of ikhlaas.) Certainly they are beacons of light and guidance in the Ummah. It is on account of them that every dark fitna (trial and tribulation engulfing the Ummah) is lifted.

Receiving Seventy Rewards

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported, “Whoever sends salutations upon Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once, Allah Ta‘ala and His angels will send seventy mercies and blessings upon him in return of his one Durood. Hence, whoever wishes to increase his Durood should increase it, and whoever wishes to decrease his Durood should decrease it (i.e. if he wants to earn great rewards, then he should increase his Durood).”
