Land upon Which Good Deeds are Carried Out

It is reported from Hadhrat Ubaadah bin Saamit (Radhiyallahu Anhu): “On the Day of Qiyaamah, the world would be brought and it will be said (i.e. a caller will call out from the side of Allah Ta’ala to the angels), ‘measure the land and see what was for the sake of Allah Ta’ala in it (that part of the land that Allah Ta’ala used to be worshipped e.g. the Masaajid, the Madaaris, the Makaatib etc.).” It will then be measured (and taken up to Allah Ta’ala), and the entire world (besides that portion of land where Allah Ta’ala used to be remembered) will then be thrown into the fire of Jahannum.

Note:  From this Hadith we understand that let alone the pious action done with ikhlass being preserved by Allah Ta’ala, even the land upon which the good deeds were carried out is beloved to Allah Ta’ala and will be preserved in the Hereafter.

Receiving Seventy Rewards

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported, “Whoever sends salutations upon Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once, Allah Ta‘ala and His angels will send seventy mercies and blessings upon him in return of his one Durood. Hence, whoever wishes to increase his Durood should increase it, and whoever wishes to decrease his Durood should decrease it (i.e. if he wants to earn great rewards, then he should increase his Durood).”
