Departing from the World upon Ikhlaas

Hadhrat Anas (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: “Whoever departs from this world in the condition of ikhlaas (he brought true faith in Allah Ta’ala alone and did every action for His pleasure in accordance to the prescribed manner) and he did not ascribe partners with Him, and he established salaah throughout his life, and used to discharged his zakaat, then he will leave the world in the condition that Allah Ta’ala will be pleased with him.

Receiving Seventy Rewards

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported, “Whoever sends salutations upon Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once, Allah Ta‘ala and His angels will send seventy mercies and blessings upon him in return of his one Durood. Hence, whoever wishes to increase his Durood should increase it, and whoever wishes to decrease his Durood should decrease it (i.e. if he wants to earn great rewards, then he should increase his Durood).”
