Placing one’s Trust and Reliance upon Allah Ta’ala Alone

Hazrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (rahmatullahi ‘alaih) once mentioned:

When Allah Ta’ala decides that any work take place then He creates the means for its fulfilment. The completion of that work is not dependant on any person. Rather, Allah Ta’ala, out of His infinite power, will use whichever person He so wishes for its completion. Therefore, one should place his trust and reliance upon Allah Ta’ala alone.
