The Harms of Taking Oaths in Business

عَن أبي هُرَيرَة رَضِيَ الله عَنه قَال سَمِعتُ النبيَّ صلى الله عليه وَسَلَّم يَقُولُ الحِلْفُ مَنفَقَةٌ لِلسِّلْعَةِ مَمْحَقَةٌ للبركة (البخاري رقم 2087)

Hazrat Abu Hurayrah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Taking oaths will be a means of promoting the commodity in order  to sell it, but will destroy the barakah (blessings) of the business.”
