The heart of every Muslim is filled with deep love for the Quraan Majeed, and every Muslim yearns and desires to understand the message of his Rabb contained in the Quraan Majeed
However, since the average person does not understand the Arabic language, and the message of the Quraan Majeed cannot be fully understood without referring to the Ahaadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), the statements of the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu anhum) and the Imaams of Tafseer (the Mufassireen commentators of the Quraan Majeed), a need was felt to prepare a kitaab of the tafseer of selected surahs in the English language, to make it possible for the masses to understand the message of the Quraan Majeed.
Alhamdulillah, this kitaab contains the tafseer of Surah Faatihah and the last twenty-two surahs of the Quraan Majeed, commencing from Surah Dhuha until Surah Naas.
This kitaab has been prepared in a simplified manner to make it possible for one and all to read it and easily grasp and comprehend the message of these surahs. Similarly, this kitaab can also be included into a madrasah syllabus making it possible for children to study it and benefit from it.
Since these surahs are commonly recited in salaah, it is hoped that this kitaab will assist people to recite the Quraan Majeed in salaah in a manner that they will understand the message of these surahs while reciting, thereby creating more life in their salaah.
