Ihyaaud Deen An Effort to Revive Deen in Totality
Hazrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thaanwi (rahimahullah) once mentioned the following prescription to acquire the love of Allah Ta‘ala:
Whenever one carries out any good deed, then at the time of carrying out the good deed, one should say, “O Allah! Make this good deed a means of me acquiring Your love!” If one does this, then he will insha Allah see how effective this method is (in acquiring the love of Allah Ta‘ala).
Another important aspect for acquiring the love of Allah Ta‘ala is for one to engage in the zikr of Allah Ta‘ala with complete focus and devotion. Making a little zikr everyday saying “Allah! Allah!” will prove effective in one acquiring the love of Allah Ta‘ala.
The third aspect, which is also extremely important for acquiring the love of Allah Ta‘ala, is for one to spend some time in the company of the Ahlullah (the friends of Allah Ta‘ala) whose hearts are filled with the love of Allah Ta‘ala.
