Tafseer

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللّٰهِ وَالْفَتْحُ ‎﴿١﴾‏ وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا ‎﴿٢﴾‏ فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ ط إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا ‎﴿٣﴾ (O Rasul (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam)) When the help of Allah Ta’ala and the victory (the conquest of Makkah Mukarramah) comes, and you see people entering into the Deen of Allah …

Say, “O disbelievers, I do not worship that (idols) which you worship, nor do you worship the One whom I worship (Allah Ta‘ala). And neither am I going to worship that (idols) which you worship, and nor will you worship the One whom I worship (Allah Ta‘ala). For you is your religion and for me is my religion.”

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ ‎(١)‏ فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ ‎(٢) إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ (٣) Surely, We have granted you (and blessed you with) abundant good. So offer salaah (prayer) to your Rabb, and offer sacrifice. Surely, the one who hates you, he will be cut-off. In this surah, Allah Ta‘ala addresses …

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ ‎﴿١﴾‏ فَذٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ ‎﴿٢﴾‏ وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلٰى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ ‎﴿٣﴾‏ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ‎﴿٤﴾‏ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُوْنَ ‎﴿٥﴾‏ الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ يُرَاءُوْنَ ‎﴿٦﴾‏ وَيَمْنَعُوْنَ الْمَاعُوْنَ ‎﴿٧﴾‏ Have you seen the one who rejects the Judgement? Then he is the one who repulses (and turns away) the orphan, and does not encourage the feeding …

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمن ٱلرَّحِيمِ لِإِيلفِ قُرَيْشٍ ‎﴿١﴾‏ اِلٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَآءِ وَالصَّيْفِ ‎﴿٢﴾‏ فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّ هٰذَا الْبَيْتِ ‎﴿٣﴾‏ الَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوْعٍ وَاٰمَنَهُمْ مِّنْ خَوْفِۭ ‎﴿٤﴾‏ For the safety of the Quraish, the safety which they enjoy in their journeys in the winter months and the summer months. بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ اَلَمۡ  تَرَ کَیۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّکَ  بِاَصۡحٰبِ الۡفِیۡلِ ؕ﴿۱﴾اَلَمۡ  یَجۡعَلۡ  کَیۡدَہُمۡ فِیۡ  تَضۡلِیۡلٍ ۙ﴿۲﴾وَّ  اَرۡسَلَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ  طَیۡرًا  اَبَابِیۡلَ ۙ﴿۳﴾تَرۡمِیۡہِمۡ  بِحِجَارَۃٍ  مِّنۡ سِجِّیۡلٍ ۪ۙ﴿۴﴾فَجَعَلَہُمۡ کَعَصۡفٍ مَّاۡکُوۡلٍ ٪﴿۵﴾ Did you not see how your Rabb dealt with the people of the elephant? Did He not make their treacherous plans …

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ ‎﴿١﴾‏ الَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ‎﴿٢﴾‏ يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ اَخْلَدَهُ ‎﴿٣﴾‏ كَلَّا لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِى الْحُطَمَةِ ‎﴿٤﴾‏ وَمَآ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ ‎﴿٥﴾‏ نَارُ اللّٰهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ ‎﴿٦﴾‏ الَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْـِٔدَةِ ‎﴿٧﴾‏ اِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ ‎﴿٨﴾‏ فِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ ‎﴿٩﴾‏ Woe to every backbiter, mocker, who accumulates wealth and goes on counting it! He thinks that his wealth will cause …

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ألرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْعَصْرِ ‎﴿١﴾‏ اِنَّ الْاِنسَانَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ ‎﴿٢﴾‏ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوْا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بالصَّبْرِ ‎﴿٣﴾‏ By the oath of time; indeed man is in loss, except those who have believed and done righteous deeds and they encouraged each other towards the truth and encouraged each other towards perseverance (and …

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ اَلْهٰكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ ‎﴿١﴾‏ حَتّٰى زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ ‎﴿٢﴾‏ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ‎﴿٣﴾‏ ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ‎﴿٤﴾‏ كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ ‎﴿٥﴾‏ لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ ‎﴿٦﴾‏ ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ‎﴿٧﴾‏ ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ‎﴿٨﴾‏ The mutual rivalry in amassing wealth (and the material things and benefits of this world) has distracted you (from the obedience of Allah Ta‘ala and …

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ الْقَارِعَةُ ‎﴿١﴾‏ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ ‎﴿٢﴾‏ وَمَآ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ ‎﴿٣﴾‏ يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ ‎﴿٤﴾‏ وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ ‎﴿٥﴾ فَاَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِيْنُهُۥ ‎﴿٦﴾‏ فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ‎﴿٧﴾‏ وَاَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُۥ ‎﴿٨﴾‏ فَاُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ ‎﴿٩﴾‏ وَمَآ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا هِيَهْ ‎﴿١٠﴾‏ نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ ‎﴿١١﴾‏ The day of the striking event; and what is the day of the striking event?
