Receive Abundant Rewards

sun raysOne should recite the following two hundred times during the day:

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

There is no deity besides Allah Ta’ala alone, who has no partner. To Him belongs the entire universe, and for Him is all praise and He has power over everything.

عن عبد الله بن عمرو قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم : من قال : لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير مائتي مرة في يوم لم يسبقه أحد كان قبله ولا يدركه أحد بعده إلا بأفضل من عمله  رواه أحمد والطبراني إلا أنه قال : " كل يوم " ورجال أحمد ثقات وفي رجال الطبراني من لم أعرفه (مجمع الزوائد رقم 16829)

Hadhrat Abdullah bin Amr (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who recites the following two hundred times daily will receive such abundant reward that none from the creation will match him, whether from the former people or the latter, except the one who recites it more (or something greater).

Earn Great Virtues and Rewards

عن أبي هريرة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال من قال لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير في يوم مائة مرة كانت له عدل عشر رقاب وكتبت له مائة حسنة ومحيت عنه مائة سيئة وكانت له حرزا من الشيطان يومه ذلك حتى يمسي ولم يأت أحد أفضل مما جاء به إلا أحد عمل أكثر من ذلك (مسلم رقم 2691)

Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever recites the following duaa one hundred times in the day, he will receive the reward of freeing ten slaves, one hundred good deeds will be recorded in his book of deeds, one hundred sins will be forgiven, and he will be blessed with divine protection from Shaytaan for that day till the evening; and he will receive such abundant reward that none from the creation will come on the day of Qiyaamah with the amount of reward that he will have except the one who recites it more (or something greater)  :

 لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Earn the Reward of a Complete Hajj and Umrah

Sceneعن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم من صلى الغداة في جماعة ثم قعد يذكر الله حتى تطلع الشمس ثم صلى ركعتين كانت له كأجر حجة وعمرة.قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم تامة تامة (ترمذي رقم 586)

Hadhrat Anas (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever performs Fajr salaah with jamaat, and thereafter remains seated in his place of salaah while engaged in the zikr of Allah Ta’ala until the sun rises, and thereafter performs two rakaat salaah (of ishraaq after the sun has risen till the length of the spear), he will earn the reward of a Hajj and umrah.” Thereafter Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said twice, “The reward he will receive will be of a complete Hajj and Umrah.”

 

The Virtue of Ishraaq Salaah

Sceneعن معاذ بن أنس الجهني قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : من قعد في مصلاه حين ينصرف من صلاة الصبح حتى يسبح ركعتي الضحى لا يقول إلا خيرا غفر له خطاياه وإن كانت أكثر من زبد البحر . (ابو داود رقم 1289)

Hadhrat Muaadh bin Anas Al-Juhany (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever remains seated in his place of salaah after the Fajr salaah until the time of ishraaq, and thereafter he stands up and performs two rakaats of ishraaq, and he does not speak anything except good (i.e. he does not get engaged in any futile talk from the time of Fajr till ishraaq), his (minor) sins will be forgiven even if it be more than the foam of the ocean.” 

Performing Ishraaq salaah in the Morning

This entry is part 47 of 50 in the series Morning and Evening Duaas

SceneOne should perform ishraaq salaah after sunrise (approximately 15 to 20 minutes after sunrise).  One may perform two or four rakaats.

عن أبي الدرداء وأبي ذر : عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم عن الله عز و جل أنه قال ابن آدم اركع لي من أول النهار أربع ركعات أكفك آخره (ابو داود رقم 1291)

Hadhrat Abu Dardaa and Hadhrat Abu Zar (Radhiallahu Anhuma) report from Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) that Allah Ta’ala said: “O son of Aadam, perform four rakaats for Me in the beginning of the day, I will suffice your needs till the end of the day.”
