Reciting the Shahaadat upon Completing Wudhu

wudhu khanaOne should recite the following Duaa thrice upon completing his wudhu:

I testify that there is no deity besides Allah Ta’ala who is alone and has no partner and I testify that Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is His servant and messenger.

Hadhrat Anas (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: Whoever performs wudhu and then recites the following Duaa:

The eight doors of Jannat are opened for him and he may enter from whichever door he wishes.

Note: One may recite the Shaahadat once or thrice upon completion of the wudhu. Allamah Jazri has mentioned that both have been established from the Ahaadith.
