Entering the masjid in the state of janaabah

Q: Is it permissible for one to enter the masjid in the state of janaabah?

A: It is impermissible for one to enter the masjid in the state of janaabah.

و يحرم بالحدث الأكبر دخول مسجد و لو للعبور إلّا لضرورة (الدر المختار مع رد المحتار 1/171, نور الإيضاح 29)
