Reciting Aayatul Kursi after Salaah

One should recite Aayatul Kursi after every Fardh salaah

Virtue One:

عن أبي أمامة رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم من قرأ آية الكرسي دبر كل صلاة لم يمنعه من دخول الجنة إلا أن يموت  رواه النسائي والطبراني بأسانيد أحدها صحيح  وقال شيخنا أبو الحسن هو على شرط البخاري وابن حبان في كتاب الصلاة وصححه (الترغيب رقم 2468)

Hazrat Abu Umaamah (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever recites Aayatul Kursi after every Fardh salaah, nothing will prevent him from entering Paradise except death.”

Note: The abovementioned virtue is for the person who passes away after reciting Aayatul Kursi while he does not have any outstanding rights which he owes to Allah Ta’ala and the creation.

Virtue Two:

One should recite Aayatul Kursi after every Fardh salaah

وعن الحسن بن علي قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من قرأ آية الكرسي في دبر الصلاة المكتوبة كان في ذمة الله إلى الصلاة الأخرى.رواه الطبراني في الكبير وإسناده حسن (مجمع الزوائد رقم 2892)

Hazrat Hasan bin Ali (Radhiyallahu Anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever recites Aayatul Kursi after the Fardh salaah, he will remain in the protection of Allah Ta’ala till the next salaah.”
