Masnoon Surahs to be recited in Witr Salaah

Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would recite the following surahs in his witr salaah: Surah Aa’laa in the first rakaat; Surah Kaafiroon in the second rakaat; Surah Ikhlaas in the third rakaat.

عن ابن عباس قال : كان ا لنبي صلى الله عليه و سلم يقرأ في الوتر ب )سبح اسم ربك الأعلى( و )قل يا أيها الكافرون( و )قل هو الله أحد(في ركعة ركعة (ترمذي رقم 462)

Hadhrat ibn Abbaas (Radhiyallahu Anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would recite Surah Aa’laa in the first rakaat, Surah Kaafiroon in the second rakaat and Surah Ikhlaas in the third rakaat of his witr salaah.
