The Duaa of Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)

عن ابن عمر  رضي الله عنهما  أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال اللهم أعز الإسلام بأحب هذين الرجلين إليك بأبي جهل أو بعمر بن الخطاب قال وكان أحبهما إليه عمر (الترمذي)

Hadhrat ibn Umar (Radhiallahu Anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam made the following Duaa, “O Allah, strengthen Islam with whichever one of the two (persons) who is better in Your sight, Umar ibnul Khattaab or Abu Jahl. Ibn Umar (Radhiallahu Amhuma) states: “The better of the two was Hadhrat Umar (Radhiallahu Anhu).
