1. It is not permissible for a non-baaligh child to give a gift to anyone from his personal wealth. However, if the parents wish to instil within the child the quality of generosity and therefore want him to share the food, sweets etc, with his friends, then the parents should purchase these food/sweet items from their personal wealth and allow the child to share it with his friends.
