Duaa when Leaving the Home for Fajr Salaah

One should recite the following duaa when leaving the home for Fajr salaah:

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا و فِي لِسَانِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ فِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي بَصَرِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ مِن خَلْفِي نُورًا ومن أَمَامِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُورًا اللَّهُمَّ أعْطِني نُورًا

O Allah, illuminate my heart, illuminate my tongue, illuminate my hearing, illuminate my vision, and bless me with noor from behind me, and in front of me, and from above me and from beneath me (i.e. enshroud me in noor) . O Allah, grant me noor.

عن عبد الله بن عباس أنه رقد عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم… ثم أوتر بثلاث فأذن المؤذن فخرج إلى الصلاة وهو يقول اللهم اجعل في قلبي نورا وفي لساني نورا واجعل في سمعي نورا واجعل في بصري نورا واجعل من خلفي نورا ومن أمامي نورا واجعل من فوقي نورا ومن تحتي نورا اللهم أعطني نورا (مسلم رقم 763)

Hadhrat Abdullah bin Abbaas (Radhiyallahu Anhuma) reports that he once spent the night by Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). (During the night he witnessed that) Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) performed three rakaats of witr. Then the muazzin called out the Azaan (for Fajr salaah), and Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) left for salaah while he was reciting the following duaa:  

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا و فِي لِسَانِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ فِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي بَصَرِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ مِن خَلْفِي نُورًا ومن أَمَامِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُورًا اللَّهُمَّ أعْطِني نُورًا
