The Noor of the Heart cannot co-exist with Sins

Hazrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (rahmatullahi ‘alaih) once mentioned:

It is possible that there be good deeds in a person’s life despite him also being involved in sins. However, the noor of the heart cannot co-exist with sins. Where sins are perpetrated, immediately the light of the heart is affected. (Malfoozaat Hakeemul Ummat 6/113)
