Spend according to your Means

Hazrat Shaikh Moulana Muhammad Zakariyya Kandelwhi (Rahmatullahi Alaihi) mentioned:

Through experience I can safely say that one should first examine one’s financial condition and accordingly spend. Spending within one’s means will save one from falling into financial constraints. Spread out your feet in accordance to the length of the blanket you use to cover yourself with. This point has been deduced from the Hadith. (Malfoozaate Hazrat Shaikh 1/25)
