Hazrat Huzaifah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “There was once a person who passed away and was allowed to enter Paradise. He was asked by the angels: ‘What good actions did you do in the world?’ The man either remembered his good action or was reminded (by the angels) and thus replied: ‘In the world, whenever I transacted with the people, I would grant respite to the poor (i.e. the one incapable of paying me) and I would overlook the deficiency in the quality of the Dirhams that would be paid to me and accept the inferior quality (i.e. in the case where I was worthy of receiving genuine Dirhams).’ On account of this good action, Allah Ta’ala forgave him and granted him Paradise.”
