Harms of Injustice

The Hadeeth warns us that for every wrong a person will have to face the consequence of it in the hereafter. However, there are two such wrongs that their consequences befall a person in this very earthly life. One is disobedience to parents and the other is zulm (oppression). There are many instances where employers oppressed and ill treated their employees and faced the consequences of their injustice in this very life. There was a person who owned more than twenty shops but now, he is employed by one of his previous employees. This is as a result of the injustice meted out to one’s staff. We have to be extremely careful about this. (Mufti Ebrahim Salejee)
