The Importance of Safeguarding the Quraan Majeed

عن أبي موسى، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: تعاهدوا القرآن، فوالذي نفسي بيده لهو أشد تفصيا من الإبل في عقلها (صحيح البخاري، الرقم: 5033)

Hazrat Abu Moosa Ash’ari (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Look after (and safeguard) the Quraan Majeed. I swear by Him in Whose hands is my life, it (the Quraan Majeed) can escape quicker (from the heart) than a camel can escape from its rope (with which it is tied).”
