1. It is not permissible for the employee to do his personal work or conduct his own business during the time of his employment. The fuqahaa explain that it is not permissible for a person to perform nafl salaah during the time of his employment as this goes against the contract of his employment. However, if his employer permits him to do any of the above, it will be permissible.
