1. Do not laugh excessively. Laughing excessively causes the illumination of the heart to disappear.

عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا تكثروا الضحك، فإن كثرة الضحك تميت القلب (سنن ابن ماجة، الرقم: 4193)

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Do not laugh excessively, because excessive laughter causes the (spiritual light of the) heart to die.”
