The great virtue of the Qur’aan Majeed

Hazrat Abu Sa’eed Khudri (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasullullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Allah Ta‘ala says, ‘The one whom the Qur’aan Majeed keeps him occupied from asking Me (making dua for his needs), I will grant him better than what I grant those who ask me.’ The virtue of the speech of Allah Ta‘ala over all other speech is like the virtue of Allah Ta‘ala over His creation.”

Receiving Seventy Rewards

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported, “Whoever sends salutations upon Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once, Allah Ta‘ala and His angels will send seventy mercies and blessings upon him in return of his one Durood. Hence, whoever wishes to increase his Durood should increase it, and whoever wishes to decrease his Durood should decrease it (i.e. if he wants to earn great rewards, then he should increase his Durood).”
