Dua when entering one’s home upon returning from a journey

Upon returning from a journey, when one enters his home and meets his family, he should recite the following dua:

تَوْبًا تَوْبًا لِرَبِّنَا أَوْبًا لَا يُغَادِرُ عَلَيْنَا حَوْبًا

We continuously turn to our Rabb and seek such a forgiveness from Him after which there is no sin that remains upon us

عن ابن عباس أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا أراد الرجوع من سفره، قال: آيبون، تائبون عابدون لربنا حامدون، وإذا دخل على أهله، قال: توبا توبا لربنا أوبا لا يغادر علينا حوبا (المصنف لابن أبي شيبة رقم 29612)

Hazrat ibn Abbaas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reports that when Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) would return from a journey, he would recite the following dua:

آيبون، تائبون عابدون لربنا حامدون

And at the time when he entered his home, he would recite the following dua:

توبا توبا لربنا أوبا لا يغادر علينا حوبا
