Duaa for Protection from Knowledge that Does Not Benefit

Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to make the following Duaa: “O Allah, I seek Your protection from such knowledge that does not benefit; and from a heart that does not have khushoo’ (at the time of carrying out ibaadat); and from a nafs that does not get satiated (and content, but rather always desires more of the world); and (I seek protection) from a duaa that is not answered.”

Receiving Seventy Rewards

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported, “Whoever sends salutations upon Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once, Allah Ta‘ala and His angels will send seventy mercies and blessings upon him in return of his one Durood. Hence, whoever wishes to increase his Durood should increase it, and whoever wishes to decrease his Durood should decrease it (i.e. if he wants to earn great rewards, then he should increase his Durood).”
