Three People worthy of Honour

وعن أبي أمامة عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال ثلاث لا يستخف بهم إلا منافق ذو الشيبة في الإسلام وذو العلم وإمام مقسط رواه الطبراني في الكبير من طريق عبيد الله بن زحر عن علي بن يزيد عن القاسم وقد حسنها الترمذي لغير هذا المتن (الترغيب والترهيب 1/151)

Hazrat Abu Umaamah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “There are three people that only a munaafiq (hypocrite whose ways go against the teachings of Islam) will not show regard and respect to; the one who grew old in Islam (while practising Islam), and a person of Deeni knowledge (who practices on his knowledge), and a just ruler.”
