Treading the Path of Knowledge

وعن أنس قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم من خرج في طلب العلم فهو في سبيل الله حتى يرجع رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن (الترغيب والترهيب 1/139)

Hadhrat Anas (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who comes out seeking the knowledge of Deen is in the path of Allah Ta’ala until he returns.”
