Ihyaaud Deen An Effort to Revive Deen in Totality
عن جندب بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال قال النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم من سمع سمع الله به ومن يراء يراء الله به رواه البخاري ومسلم (سمع بتشديد الميم ومعناه من أظهر عمله للناس رياء أظهر الله نيته الفاسدة في عمله يوم القيامة وفضحه على رؤوس الأشهاد) (الترغيب و الترهيب 1/76)
Hadhrat Jundub bin Abdullah (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: "Whoever does any action for show, Allah Ta’ala will expose him and disgrace him on the day of Qiyaamah. (i.e. Allah Ta’ala will expose his evil intentions before the creation on the day of Qiyaamah)."
