The Ummah Receiving Benefit from the Pious Servants

Hazrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thaanwi (rahimahullah) once mentioned the following:

The person who has a correct and strong relationship with Allah Ta‘ala, he becomes a means of benefit and goodness for all the Muslims, even without him realizing or intending to benefit them. (This is on account of the fact that whatever he will say or do will conform to the pleasure of Allah Ta‘ala, and he will ensure that he fulfils the rights of Allah Ta‘ala and the rights of the creation. Through his actions, Allah Ta‘ala will bring about good conditions and mercy upon the creation in the world.)

This can be understood through the example of the sun. The sun does not know which person or which creation is receiving what extent of benefit from it, and those who are benefiting from the sun are not intending to benefit from it. Yet, despite this, they continue to receive benefit from the sun.

Alhamdulillah, this is the condition of our pious seniors and elders (that they are the means of this ummah acquiring goodness and mercy from Allah Ta‘ala).
