Dua when suffering from urinary retention or kidney stones

When a person suffers from urinary retention or kidney stones, or he is undergoing any other difficulty or suffering, he should recite the following dua:

رَبُّنَا اللّٰهُ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ، تَقَدَّسَ اسْمُكَ، أَمْرُكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، كَمَا رَحْمَتُكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَاجْعَلْ رَحْمَتَكَ فِي الْأَرْضِ، اغْفِرْ لَنَا حُوبَنَا وَخَطَايَانَا، أَنْتَ رَبُّ الطَّيِّبِينَ، أَنْزِلْ رَحْمَةً مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ وَشِفَاءً مِنْ شِفَائِكَ عَلَى هَذَا الْوَجَعِ فَيَبْرَأُ

Our Rabb is Allah whose (mercy and command is) in the heavens. Sanctified is Your blessed name. Your command (is obeyed) in the heavens and the earth. As Your mercy is in the heavens, cause Your mercy to be in the earth. Forgive us for our sins and mistakes. You are the Rabb of the pure servants. Send down a (portion of) mercy from Your (special) mercy, and a cure (for my ailments) from Your cure on this pain so that it gains relief.

عن أبي الدرداء، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: من اشتكى منكم شيئا، أو اشتكاه أخ له فليقل ربنا الله الذي في السماء، تقدس اسمك، أمرك في السماء والأرض، كما رحمتك في السماء فاجعل رحمتك في الأرض، اغفر لنا حوبنا وخطايانا، أنت رب الطيبين، أنزل رحمة من رحمتك وشفاء من شفائك على هذا الوجع، فيبرأ (سنن أبي داود، الرقم: 3892)

Hazrat Abu Dardaa (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports: “I heard Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) say: ‘If anyone of you is suffering from an ailment or his brother is suffering, he should recite the following dua:

رَبُّنَا اللّٰهُ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ، تَقَدَّسَ اسْمُكَ، أَمْرُكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، كَمَا رَحْمَتُكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَاجْعَلْ رَحْمَتَكَ فِي الْأَرْضِ، اغْفِرْ لَنَا حُوبَنَا وَخَطَايَانَا، أَنْتَ رَبُّ الطَّيِّبِينَ، أَنْزِلْ رَحْمَةً مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ وَشِفَاءً مِنْ شِفَائِكَ عَلَى هَذَا الْوَجَعِ فَيَبْرَأُ

In the narration of Amalul Yawm wa Layla of Imaam Nasaai, Hazrat Abu Dardaa (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) taught the abovementioned dua to a person who came seeking assistance for his father who was suffering from urinary retention and suffered from kidney stones.
