When a person gets burnt, he should recite the following dua:
Remove the affliction, O Rabb of all people! Grant cure – You alone are the One who can grant cure, there is none who can grant cure besides You.
Hazrat Muhammad bin Haatib (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports, “On one occasion I reached for a pot and burnt my hand (due to it being extremely hot). My mother took me to a person that was seated and she said, ‘O Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam)!’ Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) replied, ‘Labbaik wa sa’daik (I am here to assist you).’ She then brought me close to him (and showed him my hand and the burn). Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) took his Mubaarak saliva, (and began to place it on the wound) and recited something which I was unable to understand (at that time). Later on, I asked my mother regarding what Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) was saying and reciting (when he placed his Mubaarak saliva on the wound). She replied, ‘He was reciting the following dua:
