Dua when seeing the new moon – 2

When seeing the new moon, one should recite the following dua:

اَللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْأَمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ، وَالتَّوْفِيقِ لِمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَى، رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكَ اللهُ

Allah is the greatest. O Allah, bring the crescent of the new month upon us with peace and Imaan, and security and Islam, and grant us the ability to do those deeds that You love and You are pleased with. (O moon), Our Rabb and your Rabb is Allah.

عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا رأى الهلال قال: الله أكبر، اللهم أهله علينا بالأمن والإيمان والسلامة والإسلام، والتوفيق لما تحب وترضى، ربنا وربك الله. (الأذكار للنووي، الرقم: 537 ، سنن الدارمي، الرقم: 1729)

Hazrat ibnu Umar (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) would recite the following dua when he would see the crescent (of the new month):
