An Address to the Ulamaa

Hazrat Moulana Muhammad Ilyaas (rahmatullahi ‘alaih) once mentioned in an address to the Ulamaa:

Through the tabligh jamaat striving and making effort among the masses, the value of Deen and the desire to acquire the knowledge of Deen will be created within the hearts of people. After the desire to acquire Deen enters their hearts, the Ulamaa and the Mashaayikh will be able to impart the knowledge of Deen to them and attend to their reformation. It is for this reason that there is also a great need for the Ulamaa and Mashaayikh to support and assist the effort.
