The Great Virtue of Imparting the Knowledge of Deen

عن سمرة بن جندب رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم ما تصدق الناس بصدقة مثل علم ينشر رواه الطبراني في الكبير وغيره (الترغيب والترهيب 1/159)

Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “There is no sadaqah which people spend that is equal (in reward) to the knowledge of Deen that is imparted (i.e. that they impart and teach to others).”
