Hazrat Ibnu Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhuma) reports that Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cThe one who recites Surah Kahf on the day of Jumu\u2019ah, a noor (light) emanates from beneath his feet and extends to the sky. This noor will shine for him on the day of Qiyaamah, and all his (minor) sins committed between the two Jumu\u2019ahs will be forgiven.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Hazrat Ali (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports that Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cThe one who recites Surah Kahf on the day of Jumu\u2019ah (and fulfills the rights of Jumu\u2019ah), he will be Divinely protected by Allah Ta\u2018ala for eight days from every fitnah that can occur. If Dajjaal has to emerge (during the eight days of Divine protection), he will be protected from him.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

Hazrat Abu Sa\u2019eed Khudri (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports, \u201cThe one who recites Surah Kahf on the day of Jumu\u2019ah, if he has to encounter Dajjaal, then Dajjaal will not be able to overpower him or harm him.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

3. Recite the last three verses of Surah Baqarah before sleeping.<\/p>\n

It is reported that Hazrat Ali (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) said, \u201cI do not think that any intelligent person will go to sleep without reciting the last (three) verses of Surah Baqarah, for certainly they are a treasure from beneath the Arsh.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

4. Recite Surah Faatihah and Surah Ikhlaas before sleeping.<\/p>\n

Hazrat Anas (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports that Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201c(At the time of retiring to bed,) when you place your side on the bed, and you have recited Surah Faatihah and Surah Ikhlaas, then you will be safe from everything except death.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

5. Recite Surah Zumar and Surah Bani Israaeel before sleeping<\/p>\n

Hazrat Abu Lubaabah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports that Hazrat Aaishah (radhiyallahu \u2018anha) said, \u201cRasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) would not sleep until he recited Surah Zumar and Surah Bani Israa\u2019eel.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

  1. Recite the musabbihaat (i.e. those surahs that begin with the words of tasbeeh) before sleeping. These surahs are Surah Bani Israaeel, Surah Hadeed, Surah Hashr, Surah Saff, Surah Jumu\u2019ah, Surah Taghaabun and Surah A\u2019ala.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Hazrat Irbaadh bin Saariyah (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) reports that Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) would not sleep until he recited the musabbihaat, and he (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) would say \u201cIn these surahs, there is a verse greater than a thousand verses.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
