A fertile portion of it absorbed the water and caused grass and abundant vegetation to grow. From the land (upon which the rain had fallen) was a portion of ground which was hard and rocky and retained the water, by which Allah Ta\u2019ala caused people to benefit. They drank from it, gave their animals water and irrigated their crops. And (the rain water) reached another piece of the land which was barren; it could neither retain the water nor cause the crops to grow. This (the first two types of lands) is the example of the person who acquired the correct understanding of Deen and the knowledge which Allah Ta\u2019ala has sent me with had benefitted him. Hence, he learned (the knowledge of Deen) and imparted it to others.
