O Allah Ta\u2018ala, Rabb of this perfect call and of the established salaah, bestow upon Hazrat Muhammad (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) the \u2018waseelah\u2019\u00a0(an extremely high stage in\u00a0Jannah)\u00a0and \u2018fadheelah\u2019 (a lofty position that is above all the creation), and grant him the \u201cMaqaam Mahmood\u201d (i.e the honour of interceding to Allah Ta\u2018ala to commence the reckoning for the entire creation on the Day of Qiyaamah) which You have promised him, indeed You do not go against Your promise.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (radhiyallahu \u2018anhuma) reports that he heard Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) saying, \u201cWhen you hear the muazzin call out the azaan, then repeat the words of the azaan after him and thereafter recite durood upon me (before reciting the dua of azaan). Verily, whoever recites durood upon me once, Allah Ta\u2018ala sends ten blessings on him. Then (recite the dua after the azaan in which you) supplicate to Allah Ta\u2018ala to bless me with the honour of \u2018waseelah\u2019 which is a lofty position and rank in Jannah which will be exclusively granted to one of Allah\u2019s Ta\u2018ala special servants. I earnestly hope that I am granted that position, and whoever supplicates to Allah Ta\u2018ala to grant me the \u2018waseelah\u2019, he will receive my intercession on the Day of Qiyaamah.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
