Hadhrat Abu Zar (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: \u201cSuccessful is the one whose heart is filled solely with Imaan, and he keeps his heart clean (from all types of sins relating to the heart e.g. malice, jealousy, hatred, evil thoughts etc.) and he keeps his tongue truthful (in his speech, promises, commitments etc) and his soul is at every moment pleased (with Allah Ta\u2019ala and always remembering Him) and his disposition and nature remains completely balanced (in all situations i.e. not inclined towards either extreme exceeding the bounds of Shariah nor falling short in fulfilling the commands of Shariah), and he keeps his ears attentive (towards the truth) and his eyes focused (towards the truth). As far as the ear is concerned, it is a funnel through which things are filtered through, and the heart takes in what the eyes see.
