Hadhrat Dahhaak bin Qais (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said<\/em> that Allah Ta\u2019ala says<\/em>: \u201cI am the best partner (in a partnership). Whosoever ascribes a partner with me (in any act of worship), then I leave the entire act of worship (carried out for Me and for someone else) for my partner (i.e. for the one who was made a partner with Allah Ta\u2019ala).\u201d Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) then addressing the Sahaabah said: \u201cO people! Carry out your aa\u2019maal solely for the pleasure of Allah Ta\u2019ala (i.e. with complete sincerity), as only those actions are accepted in the court of Allah Ta\u2019ala that are carried out for Him with complete sincerity. Do not say \u2018I have done this action for Allah Ta\u2019ala and for the purpose of (pleasing) my kith and kin, for in that case the action will be for pleasing one\u2019s kith and kin and (on account of there not being sincerity in the action), there will be no portion for Allah Ta\u2019ala in it.
