Hazrat Husain bin \u2018Ali (radhiyallahu \u2018anhuma) reports that Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) said, \u201cThe one in whose presence my name is mentioned, and he does not send salutations upon me, he has left out an action which leads to Jannah.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

A Means of Earning the Intercession of Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hazrat Qutb Al-Halabi (rahimahullah) mentions:<\/p>\n

I once met Abu Ishaaq, Ebrahim bin Ali bin Atiyyah At-Taleedami (rahimahullah). He said to me, \u201cI was blessed with the mubaarak vision of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) in a dream. On seeing him, I said to him, \u2018O Rasul of Allah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)! I request you to intercede for me on the day of Qiyaamah!\u2019 Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) replied, \u2018Recite abundant Durood upon me.\u2019\u201d (Al-Qowlul Badee\u2019 Pg. 267)<\/em><\/p>\n

The Incident of Hazrat Ebrahim bin Khawaas (rahimahullah) <\/strong><\/p>\n

It is reported from \u201cNuzhatul Basaateen\u201d that Hazrat Ebrahim bin Khawaas (rahimahullah) says:<\/p>\n

Once, while on a journey, I felt such extreme thirst that I fell down unconscious. While I lay there, I felt someone sprinkling water on my face. When I opened my eyes, I saw a handsome young man on horseback near me. He gave me water to drink and begged me to accompany him. After having travelled for a little while, he asked me, \u201cWhat do you see?\u201d I replied, \u201cThis is Madinah Tayyibah.\u201d He then said, \u201cYou may descend here. Go to the mubaarak grave of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) and convey to him my salaams. Tell him that his brother, Khidar, has conveyed salaams to him.\u201d (Fazaail-e-Durood Pg. 187)<\/p>\n
