Hazrat \u2018Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) narrates, \u201cDuas remain suspended between the heavens and the earth. It does not proceed towards the heavens as long as Durood on Nabi (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) has not been recited (i.e. there is no guarantee for its acceptance).\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Failing to Write Durood upon Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hazrat Hasan bin Moosa Al-Hadrami (rahimahullah), who is well known as Ibnu Ujainah (rahimahullah), relates:<\/p>\n

I used to write Ahaadith, and in my haste, I used to forget to write Salaat on Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) at the places where the name of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) appeared. Thereafter, I saw Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) in a dream. He said to me, \u201cHow is it that you fail to write Salaat with my name in the manner that Abu Amr Tabari (rahimahullah) does?\u201d<\/p>\n

When I awoke, I felt greatly distressed and filled with anguish, and there and then I made a resolution that in future, whenever I write down any Hadith, I shall certainly write \u201c(sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam)\u201d. (Al-Qurbah Pg. 124, Al-Qowlul Badee\u2019 Pg. 492)<\/i><\/p>\n
