Whosoever recites durood on me ten times, on him Allah Ta\u2019ala sends one hundred blessings. Whosoever recites durood on me one hundred times, on him Allah Ta\u2019ala sends thousand blessings. And whoever recites more with love and enthusiasm, I will intercede and testify for him on the day of Qiyaamah.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Taking Precaution in Writing Durood<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hazrat Abu Sulaimaan, Muhammad bin Husain (rahimahullah), says:<\/p>\n<p>Amongst my neighbours, there was a man by the name of Fadhl who would engross himself in performing nafl salaah and observing nafl fasts.<\/p>\n<p>He once mentioned to me, \u201cI used to copy the Ahaadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), but was never in the habit of writing the Durood after the name of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam). Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) then appeared in a dream and told me, \u2018Why is it that you fail to recite Durood upon me whenever my name is spoken or written?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fadhl then took great precaution in reciting Durood upon Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) whenever the name of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) was mentioned.
