Allah Ta\u2018ala says:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" dir=\"RTL\" style=\"text-align: center; font-family: quran; font-size: 16pt;\">\u0648\u064e\u0627\u0644\u06e1\u0641\u064e\u062c\u06e1\u0631\u0650 \u06d9\ufd3f\u06f1\ufd3e \u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u06cc\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064d \u0639\u064e\u0634\u06e1\u0631\u064d \u06d9\ufd3f\u06f2\ufd3e (\u0633\u0648\u0631\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0641\u062c\u0631)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>(I take an oath) by the break of dawn and by the ten nights (of Zul Hijjah)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunnats and Aadaab of Zul Hijjah<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Exert yourself in ibaadah during the first ten days of Zul Hijjah. Try to fast during the first ten days. \u00a0By fasting on any of the first ten days of Zul Hijjah (besides the tenth), you will receive the reward of fasting the entire year.<sup class=\"\">[3]<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>3. Endeavour to make as much ibaadah as possible during the first ten nights of Zul Hijjah. (These five nights are) the night of Tarwiyah (8th of Zul Hijjah), the night of Arafah (9th of Zul Hijjah), the night of Nahr (10th of Zul Hijjah), the night of Eidul Fitr and the night of the 15th of Sha\u2019baan.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>5. It is mustahab for one (who is not in the state of ihraam) to fast on the day of Arafah i.e. 9<sup>th<\/sup>of Zul Hijjah. I performed hajj with Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu) and he also did not fast on the day of Arafah (during the hajj). Similarly, I performed hajj with Umar (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), and he also did not fast on the day of Arafah (during the hajj), and I then performed hajj with Hazrat Uthmaan (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), and he accordingly did not fast on the day of Arafah (during the hajj).\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>6.
