\u201c(From all the Ambiyaa,) I am closest to \u2018Isa bin Maryam. There is no Nabi between him and me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Furthermore, towards the latter times, Nabi \u2018Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) will descend from the skies to kill Dajjaal. Nabi Isa (alaihis salaam) will remain in the ummah of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) and will implement the Shari\u2018ah of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) as a Mujaddid (revivalist).<\/p>\n On the day of Qiyaamah, Nabi \u2018Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) will appear before Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam), with the entire creation, from beginning to end, and he will request Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) to intercede to Allah Ta\u2018ala to commence the reckoning. It is for these reasons that Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) was made to meet Nabi \u2018Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam).<\/p>\n As for Nabi Yahya (\u2018alaihis salaam) accompanying Nabi \u2018Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) on this occasion, then it was merely due to their close family relationship, as both (Nabi \u2018Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) and Nabi Yahya (\u2018alaihis salaam)) were maternal cousins (i.e. their mothers were sisters).<\/p>\n This meeting of Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) with Nabi \u2018Isa (\u2018alaihis salaam) denoted the relentless harassment and persecution which Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) was going to receive from the side of the Jews. The Jews were going to leave no stone unturned in frustrating Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) and they were going to devise a range of plans to assassinate him.
